New collaboration gives more than 1,200 ExtraMile franchisees access to digital commerce technology purpose-built for convenience retail
PLEASANTON, CA (October 5, 2026) — ExtraMile Convenience Stores announced today that Vroom Delivery has been selected as its online ordering and delivery provider, giving more than 1,200 ExtraMile franchisees across 12 states access to a digital commerce platform built specifically for convenience retail. Through this collaboration, participating franchisees are able to reach customers across third-party marketplaces including DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, while automatically bringing their full in-store inventory online and helping to reduce the work required from store teams.
“At ExtraMile, we’re always looking for ways to give our franchisees access to the tools that can help them grow their businesses,” says Rob Falciani, Head of Marketing at ExtraMile. “Teaming up with Vroom Delivery takes our online ordering and delivery capabilities to the next level, making it easier to capture incremental business while automating much of the work behind the scenes so store teams can stay focused on serving their customers.”
Vroom Delivery provides digital commerce technology designed specifically for convenience retailers, connecting online ordering directly with store-level inventory, pricebook data, loyalty programs, and back-office systems. Participating ExtraMile franchisees can replace static, one-size-fits-all menus with dynamic assortments based on what is actually available at each location. This allows franchisees to merchandise far more of their stores online. Vroom Delivery's Automated Menu Management (AMM) helps keep pricing and product availability synchronized across marketplaces in real time, ensuring that when the last unit of an item is purchased through one marketplace, it is automatically removed from each of the others.
“Being convenient in 2026 means meeting customers on their terms, including those moments when they don’t plan to visit a store,” says Falciani. “We’ve already seen this technology help retailers sell significantly more products, and we’re excited to make it available across the ExtraMile network. We believe there’s a big opportunity ahead for franchisees to grow their online ordering and delivery business.”
ExtraMile looks forward to introducing the new relationship to franchisees at the 2026 NACS Show in Las Vegas, from October 6 - 9. Those interested in learning more about onboarding and strategies to help grow online sales are encouraged to schedule time with their franchise development specialist.
