Vroom Delivery was founded in 2015 by brothers John and Jeff Nelson. At the time, their father Bruce Nelson owned a number of convenience stores that were looking to find an e-commerce system that worked well given the unique needs and complex tech stack of convenience stores.
Unable to find an off-the-shelf solution, Jeff and John worked for three years to develop and pilot a product before releasing it to other retailers in 2018. Since then, the team has continued to work closely with all of its clients and the platform has advanced rapidly to become the most integrated, sophisticated digital commerce tool in the market.
Vroom Delivery's advisory board includes top retail experts such as Terry Handley, the former CEO of Casey’s General Stores; Neil Stern, the current CEO of Good Food Holdings; and Bruce Nelson, the CEO of Roundtree Capital. The team has even received investments from its current clients such as Wesco, Hutchinson Oil, Urban Value Corner Store, and FavTrip.
